Customer Reviews

Panthera is a true sanctuary for rescued animals. I would highly recommend the Sunset Walk where we were expertly guided, in a small group, around part of the sanctuary. Animals were not forced to be on show (only certain sides of the enclosures are accessible and the enclosures have plenty of trees and plants for hiding) and they only came to see us if they wanted to. We witnessed animals playing, running, jumping, grooming each other and, most awesomely, roaring as a pride. The walk was informative, inspiring and the roaring was breath-taking. The animals look truly happy and the care, attention and love that is bestowed on them by everyone who works at Panthera is just wonderful. Definitely worth a visit to support this truly wonderful team. - Charlotte Driscoll

Such a wonderful experience to see how the cats have been rehabilitated. The love for the animals is very evident and although it is heartbreaking to think of where they have come from, and also how many cats are still being subjected to that horror, at least we know the ones in their care are loved. Highly recommended - this is a REAL sanctuary. - Alison & Mark Kranenburg

An absolutely exceptional experience - Marc Schoeman
